collaboration and trading, offering a comprehensive line-up of industry experts showcasing classic and contemporary fashion from the UK and around the world. The Autumn Fair attracts thousands of high-quality buyers from some of the biggest names in retail, department stores and independent fashion houses. Nine (9) participants from 6 CARIFORUM territories participated in the event. The overarching goal of this project was to support regional fashion designers in expanding their presence on the international stage and securing contracts with global brands and buyers to boost exports. The activity aimed to provide exposure to regional designers and creators within the fashion industry internationally, enhance the skills of Caribbean fashion designers through interactions with buyers and industry experts, organize follow-up events post-festival based on best practices and festival recommendations, establish connections with international brands and buyers, strengthen the capacity of regional fashion designers, and explore opportunities for collaborative design creation and distribution in both regional and international markets. The participants were able to engage in a total of 27 B2B discussions and 5 firms have been able to secure a total of 9 contracts and 2 continue to discuss with buyers they met at the event. classic and contemporary fashion from the UK and around the world.
