Renaissance Angels recently convened its first meeting in February 2017. The group is comprised of more than 10 business professionals with extensive experience operating across the Caribbean and internationally. The group includes members with expertise in manufacturing, commercial products, real estate and other industries.

Infinite Potential (IP) Angels Port of Spain, Trinidad & Tobago

Infinite Potential was formed as a social enterprise to develop entrepreneurship in Trinidad and Tobago, with an aim of supporting diversification efforts in the country. IP provides support through mentorship, relevant networking, market access and angel investing activities that allow entrepreneurs to improve their chances of success. IP looks for companies that have proven concepts, are already in business and need (and welcome) some support. With the assistance of the World Bank and Caribbean Export Development Agency, IP has been able to move towards formalising the angel investing division of IP and to bring together a group of Business Angels from diversified backgrounds. From businessmen to educators and business consultants, to marketing and finance specialists, IP is small at the moment and focusing on developing its deal flow before expanding. IP began looking at angel investment opportunities in February 2017 and while no official investments to date have been made, the group is actively engaged with a number of entrepreneurs through mentoring, strategic networking and guidance
