FDI Inflows- Top Countries Dominican Republic remains the biggest attraction in terms of FDI inflows into the region. In 2019, Dominican Republic absorbed 41.9 percent of total FDI inflows into the CARIFORUM region. Guyana, with its recent oil discoveries, has become the second largest FDI attracting country in the region. FDI inflows jumped from US$ 121.7 million in 2015 to US$ 1.7 billion in 2019, which translated into a share of 23.8 percent in 2019. Table 12 presents the top economies with their shares in the FDI inflows.
