INVESTMENT FOR DEVELOPMENT Caribbean Export recognizes that investment promotion is critical for the development of new export goods and services; and the economic transformation of our region. Investment promotion is a central pillar for the Agency, which serves as the Secretariat for 23 member countries of the Caribbean Association of Investment Promotion Agencies (CAIPA). The investment priority focus areas include: 1. promoting the Caribbean and its territories as investment destinations 2. facilitating investment through the establishment of transparent and easily accessible information systems 3. building the capacity of the investment promotion agencies (IPAs) in the Caribbean.
