1. Kairi (The Kairi Chocolate Company) from Trinidad and Tobago a “tree/ blossom-to-bar” chocolate maker using cocoa from their La Carlota Estate in Trinidad. They showcased their premium Caribbean chocolate offerings, using the programme support to sharpen its B2B messaging and sales materials while testing market positioning and buyer feedback for expansion into Europe. 2. Benjamin Group from Jamaica presented a refined, health-oriented product mix—particularly coconut water and jackfruit-based items aligning more closely with nutraceutical and functional food buyers and strengthening its visibility and pitch for retail and distribution channels. 3. Veusse Naturals from Trinidad and Tobago brought natural wellness products in development and used the coaching to assess pricing and retail readiness, advancing packaging concepts and next-step priorities to better meet European buyer expectations. 4. Kahkow from Dominican Republic promoted value-added cocoa and chocolate products, engaging strong buyer interest while focusing on improving its EU facing marketing and digital presence to support follow-up, partnerships, and market entry. Supporting CARIFORUM Food & Beverage Exporters to Expand Regional and International Market Access Agroalimentaria 2025 | Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic (28–31 May 2025) Agro-processing and value-added food and beverage exports remain among CARIFORUM’s most practical pathways to inclusive growth linking MSMEs to tourism, diaspora demand, and niche international markets while strengthening rural livelihoods and local supply chains. In 2025, Caribbean Export advanced this agenda through the EU-funded Global Gateway Regional Private Sector Development Programme III (RPSDP III), supporting a targeted cohort of food and beverage producers to build export readiness, raise product visibility, and accelerate commercial relationships at Agroalimentaria 2025, one of the region’s leading agro-industry trade fairs.
