Caribbean Export’s commitment to the EU LAC Digital Accelerator initiative has once again been reflected in this year’s results. Caribbean countries such as Dominican Republic, Jamaica, Trinidad and Tobago and Barbados are joining the accelerator through their startups and companies, generating digital business with European and Latin American organizations. This year, Digital Connectors, the program which was launched by Caribbean Export in 2024 in the Dominican Republic, was successfully replicated in 2025 in Jamaica. The program that brings the accelerator closer to all stakeholders in the innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem has led to an increase in the number of Jamaican organizations benefiting from the accelerator. We would like to thank Caribbean Export for its dedication and effort in this initiative, which is having a positive impact on the international growth of digital businesses.

Advancing Digital Innovation Through the EU‑LAC Digital Accelerator in 2025 In 2025, Caribbean Export advanced its role in the EU‑LAC Digital Accelerator, strengthening cross‑regional digital cooperation and expanding opportunities for Caribbean startups and corporates. As an implementing partner, the Agency focused on building a robust pipeline of participants, deepening institutional partnerships, and delivering targeted activities that supported the programme’s open innovation framework. Throughout the year, Caribbean Export executed a series of high‑impact engagements across the region, including Digital Connectors missions in Jamaica, virtual programming, open innovation webinars, and regional dialogues aligned with the EU‑LAC Digital Alliance. These activities significantly boosted programme visibility and drove increased participation from both startups and corporates.
