The data on bilateral trade flows also establishes another interesting pattern in relation to both the intensity and extensity of the trade in services between CARIFORUM States and the UK. In the first instance, there were only a few countries that recorded active bilateral trade across all the sectors. This was particularly so for Barbados, which enjoyed active participation in all export services categories, which was followed by The Bahamas and the Dominican Republic, which, barring one sector, had almost total coverage. Major services providers such as Jamaica, however, had a more concentrated presence in the trade in services activities occurring between CARIFORUM and the UK, and was notably absent from the Goods related services sector, comprised of both Manufacturing and Maintenance and Repair services, as well as the Construction services sector. It is also notable that only in the case of the Travel services, Telecommunications, Computer and Information services and the Other business services categories did CARIFORUM register bilateral trading activity with the UK across all of its States, while on the other hand, the Construction, Manufacturing, and Maintenance and Repair services sectors recorded the least amount of bilateral trading activity between the two sides.
